Nau mai, haere mai — Welcome

Te Rōpū Rangimārie

He rōpū mārie, e tū ana i runga i te whakapapa.

A peaceful group grounded in whakapapa — nurturing tamariki and whānau through cultural connection, aroha, and pride.

Mō Mātou • Who We Are

A safe, culturally affirming space for whānau.

Te Rōpū Rangimārie is a kaupapa Māori community group dedicated to our tamariki and their whānau. We operate with a deep commitment to aroha, rangimārie, and cultural connection.

Our name means "peaceful group," and we strive to make our space feel like a warm wharenui — grounded, safe, and full of life. We are not performative; we are genuinely caring, offering a place where tamariki voice is centred.

Our Purpose

To uplift tamariki and whānau through spaces where they are culturally affirmed and their voices are heard.

Our Difference

Tamariki-centred, whakapapa-grounded practice with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing.

Te Moemoeā • Our Vision

"He iwi kotahi tātou"

A future where tamariki are grounded in their whakapapa, confident in their identity, and stand strong together.

We believe that when a child knows exactly who they are and where they come from, they move through the world differently. They carry the strength of their ancestors and the support of their community.

Mā te mahi tahi, ka ora ai te iwi.

By working together, the people will thrive.

Te Rōpū Rangimārie relies on the generosity and commitment of our community. There are many ways to be part of this kaupapa.
